Hash House A Go Go

"Twisted Farm Food"

Hash House A Go Go

Now in three locations (San Diego, Las Vegas & Kansas City), Hash House serves "fresh farm food with a twist". One of the best and most impressive breakfasts/brunches I have ever eaten (as well as some of the largest portions I have ever seen). I have not yet been fortunate enough to try the lunch or dinner menus but have heard equally good things.

Pinkberry

http://www.pinkberry.com/

Since opening the first shop (868 Huntley Dr/West Hollywood, CA/90069/310.659.8285) in 2005, Pinkberry has expanded to over 11 Locations in Southern California and 3 in New York City.

Definitely the best frozen yogurt I have ever tasted. It is the owner's own recipe (made from real milk; no powders, no mixers) and is impossible to find anyplace else. The yogurt itself is tangy and stiff, without the overbearing sweetness that screams artificial flavoring. Served with real fruit toppings, fresh from the market (not soaked in syrup) staffers recommend first timers order a medium (that comes with three toppings).

The Taste That Launched 1,000 Parking Tickets - August 4 2006
This is a story about yogurt, but it is also about entrepreneurship, financial and cultural expectations, beating the heat, beating the caloric system and parking. It's a feel-good story about an ambitious 32-year-old Korean woman whose small business has become successful beyond all reasonable expectations. And it's a feel-bad story about a sleepy neighborhood attacked, out of nowhere, by an army of frozen-yogurt fiends.
