Named fittingly after the three meals of the day it serves (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner),
BLD steps into the role of updated coffee shop in the former
Opaline and
Red location. I haven't been for lunch or dinner, but breakfast is quite good and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting.
Breakfast menu standouts like the
Bruléed Grapefruit (carmelized sugar in the raw on top of two slightly warm, juicy pink grapefruit halves), soft
Ricotta-Blueberry Pancakes (served with syrup in a house-shaped bottle available for purchase from the shelves in the corner) and homemade
Cream Cheese & Chive Bisquit alone make it worth trying. Coffee is served in a sleek silver french press and the salt & pepper shakers are unique but can be confusing; push down on the top, don't twist or shake (it will make sense when you see them).
