Cube @ Divine Pasta

A division of the Divine Pasta Company (though I've yet to order a pasta dish), Cube is quickly becoming one of my favorite go-to spots in LA. I've been at least a half dozen times now and had a wonderful experience every time. The food has been phenominal and I don't think I've ever ordered the same thing twice; the wait staff always friendly and knowledgable and the atmosphere at once casual and chic.

There is no liquor license but you are encouraged to bring your own wine with no accompanying corkage fee. And though you could likely make a meal from the Cheese Bar & Charcuterie alone, you'd be missing out on the entrees and seasonal items that are far too good to pass up.

Cube / 615 N La Brea Ave / Los Angeles, CA 90036 / 323.939.1148 / Cross Street: just South of Melrose Ave. / Hours: Mon-Thu 11am-10pm; Fri-Sat 11am-11pm / www.divinepasta.com

Kwik-E-Mart

Eleven 7-Eleven locations in the United States and one in Canada were transformed into Kwik-E-Marts as part of a special promotion for the upcoming The Simpsons Movie. Though you won't find Apu Nahasapeemapetilon at any of the locations, for a limited time, 7-Elevens across North America will sell various Simpsons products, such as Squishees, Buzz Cola and Krusty-Os cereal.
